Invoice submission, last 24 hours
What to do when invoicing is down
- Keep billing your customers. Rule 150XC covers invoices issued while FBR is unreachable: mark them as offline and upload them within 24 hours of the service returning.
- Do not change your data. An outage is not a rejection. Nothing about your HS codes, rates or buyer details needs editing.
- Do not create a second invoice with a new reference for the same sale. That is how duplicates reach FBR once the service returns.
Want to test it yourself, or work out whether the fault is on your side? Our guide on how to check whether FBR digital invoicing is down shows what an outage looks like next to an ordinary rejection, with the uptime and response times we have measured.
Common questions
How is this measured?
A job on our server calls three FBR endpoints every 5 minutes and stores the answer: the digital invoicing validation API, the Active Taxpayer List lookup, and the reference data API that fills product forms. This page shows those stored results. Opening this page does not make any call to FBR.
Why is only invoicing down sometimes?
FBR runs these as separate services behind one gateway. The gateway can suspend the invoicing service on its own, which is why product and client forms keep working while invoices fail.
Is this official?
No. This is our own monitoring, published as a courtesy. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by FBR. For official notices, check FBR's own channels.
My invoices fail while this page says operational
Then the problem is specific to your invoice or your token rather than a general outage. Common causes are an HS code that does not match the sale type, a buyer registration number in the wrong format, or an expired token. Our guide on why FBR invoices get rejected walks through each one.
