Questions We Hear Often

What is FBR digital invoicing?

A system from the Federal Board of Revenue requiring businesses to report sales invoices through an approved integration. Each accepted invoice receives a unique reference number and carries a QR code.

Is it mandatory for my business?

FBR is phasing in mandatory digital invoicing by business category and turnover. We can tell you where your business currently stands on a free call.

Do I need a static IP?

Yes. A whitelisted static IP is required in practice before you can go live, and it is one of the most common places a first integration stalls. It is a practical requirement of the integration process rather than something spelled out in the published API specification, so plan for it early. We help arrange one during onboarding if you do not already have it.

What happens if the FBR gateway is down?

FBR systems occasionally have downtime outside our control. Reference data is cached locally so product lookups keep working, and failed submissions can be retried once the gateway recovers.

Can I move from another POS provider?

Yes. Data migration and getting re registered with FBR are handled as part of onboarding, so there is no gap in your compliance.
