FBR digital invoicing software in Pakistan, compared

Thirteen products and the free government route, with the prices each vendor publishes on its own website, what each one actually is, and who it suits.

Three product cards compared side by side with one highlighted

There is no single best FBR digital invoicing software, because the products on the market solve different problems. A shop that needs billing and stock should compare point of sale products such as SadaHisab, CISePOS, OneClick POS and Axiom Square. A business that already keeps its books in accounting software can get FBR invoicing inside Splendid Accounts, Hisaab.pk, LedgerMax or AmalERP. A business whose invoices already come out of Excel, QuickBooks or another system can use an upload portal such as MyDigitalInvoice, IRIS Connect or e-invoicing.pk without replacing anything. Large companies on an ERP look at Haball's Wasal or an Odoo connector. And integration through PRAL costs nothing, by law.

We are one of the vendors on this page. Axiom Square sells FBR digital invoicing software, so read this as written by an interested party. To keep it useful anyway, every fact about another company comes from that company's own website, linked in the sources at the end, and checked on 14 September 2026. Where a vendor does not publish something, we say "not published" instead of guessing. Where a competitor is cheaper than us, the tables say so.

First, the licence question

Under Chapter XIV of the Sales Tax Rules 2006, integration with FBR has to run through a licensed integrator or through PRAL. FBR's official List of License Integrators names eight as at 14 September 2026: PRAL, Haball, WebDNAworks, EY Ford Rhodes, Openport Pakistan, TMR Consulting, NatureTech and Dynamic Resources. The last two were licensed on 30 March 2026.

Of the software companies compared below, only Haball appears on that register. Most of the others say openly that they connect through PRAL: SadaHisab, Splendid Accounts, Hisaab.pk, CISePOS and AmalERP all state it. MyDigitalInvoice says it works through a licensed integrator without naming one. OneClick POS uses the words "Licensed Integrator" on its FBR page, but neither OneClick nor its developer appears on FBR's register. Axiom Square is not on the register either. Ask us, as you should ask any vendor that is not on it, which licensed integrator your integration runs under. Our guide on how to choose a licensed FBR integrator explains why that question matters.

Prices exclude tax unless the vendor includes it. "Not published" means we could not find it on the vendor's own website on 14 September 2026, not that the feature is missing. Ask the vendor.

Two pairs of look alike websites are different companies. digitalinvoices.com.pk and app.digitalinvoices.pk list different offices and contact details, and so do e-invoicing.pk and einvoicing.pk. Check the company name on the quote and the contract, not just the domain.

What a first year costs at two invoice volumes

This is plain arithmetic on published prices, for the vendors whose published prices are specific enough to add up. It is not a quote from anyone, and it leaves out your own staff time, which is usually the largest cost of all. Our guide to what FBR digital invoicing actually costs covers that part.

First year cost from published prices, before tax
ProductAbout 40 invoices a monthAbout 300 invoices a monthWhat the figure leaves out
Axiom SquarePKR 29,000 (Starter PKR 2,000 × 12, plus PKR 5,000 integration)PKR 65,000 (Business PKR 5,000 × 12, plus PKR 5,000 integration)Nothing further from us
MyDigitalInvoiceRs 24,000 (Standard Rs 2,000 × 12)Rs 36,000 (Unlimited Rs 3,000 × 12)5% service tax; Rs 4,500 integration unless you top up the wallet; bulk upload add on
CISePOSPKR 49,000 (Basic yearly PKR 25,000, plus FBR add on from PKR 2,000 × 12)PKR 49,000 (plans are priced by users, not invoices)One user and one branch; the add on is "starting at"
IRIS ConnectRs 50,000 (Basic yearly, 50 invoices a month)Rs 200,000 (Professional yearly, 300 invoices a month)15% sales tax; a setup fee is mentioned without an amount
SadaHisabPKR 61,600 (Starter PKR 1,800 × 12, plus setup from PKR 40,000)PKR 90,400 (Standard PKR 4,200 × 12, plus setup from PKR 40,000)Setup is "starts from"; its own article describes integration as free, so ask

At about 300 invoices a month MyDigitalInvoice's published price is lower than ours, before its service tax and add ons. At about 40 a month the two are close. A lower subscription does not settle the choice on its own; what the product does for your kind of business matters more.

Point of sale for shops and restaurants

Choose this shape if sales happen at a counter and you need billing, stock and receipts in one place.

SadaHisab

A cloud POS with inventory, barcodes and accounting, aimed at restaurants, grocery, clothing, electronics, auto parts and wholesale. It states FBR integration through PRAL, PRA support, multi branch and six year backup. Starter is PKR 1,800 a month for up to 150 invoices, Standard PKR 4,200 and Professional PKR 6,000, with a setup fee that starts from PKR 40,000.

CISePOS

A cloud POS for retail and restaurants with an Android tablet app and an offline mode listed as a plan feature. FBR digital invoicing is an add on from PKR 2,000 a month per branch, and it lists separate SRB, PRA, KPRA and BRA add ons. Plans run PKR 2,500 to PKR 7,000 a month by users and modules, with a 14 day free trial.

OneClick POS

Billing software for restaurants, pharmacies, grocery and garment shops, with an Urdu interface. Its FBR page is mainly about Tier 1 retail POS integration, and it has a PRA eIMS page. It publishes no prices and offers a demo.

Axiom Square

Our own product: hosted POS and invoicing with inventory, barcode scanning and bulk invoicing from a CSV file. Invoices go to FBR from our servers with the invoice reference number and QR code, so there is no static IP to arrange at your premises. Starter is PKR 2,000 a month for up to 50 invoices, Growth PKR 3,000 for up to 200 and Business PKR 5,000 for up to 500, plus PKR 5,000 once for integration. Its limits are in the section below on where we fit.

Accounting software with FBR invoicing built in

Choose this shape if you want your ledgers, stock and tax invoices in one package and are willing to move your bookkeeping into it.

Splendid Accounts

Cloud accounting and inventory with iOS and Android apps, and a paid offline desktop POS add on. It states real time posting to IRIS through PRAL. Plans are PKR 2,000, PKR 3,000 and PKR 4,500 a month with a minimum quarterly subscription and a 14 day trial. The digital invoicing add on price is shown as both PKR 1,500 and PKR 2,000 on the same page, so confirm it before you sign.

Hisaab.pk

Web accounting and ERP from DYS Solutions with POS, inventory and payroll modules. It is the only accounting product here that lists bulk invoice import in every edition, and it states help with IP whitelisting, tokens and sandbox testing. Basic is PKR 35,000+ a year and Premium PKR 85,000+ a year, with unlimited users. Whether FBR integration costs extra is not published.

LedgerMax

Online accounting for traders, wholesalers, retailers, importers and exporters, on one plan at PKR 6,600 a month billed annually at PKR 79,200. It states free setup and training and says FBR digital invoicing comes at no additional cost. A mobile app is described as coming soon.

AmalERP

A cloud ERP covering accounting, POS, inventory and manufacturing, built by Switcher Techno of Karachi. It states real time FBR reporting through PRAL, an offline POS mode and SRB support. Basic is PKR 2,500 a month, with the FBR and SRB tax compliance module at PKR 1,000 a month and other modules priced separately, and a 7 day trial. Switcher Techno also sells its own POS and desktop accounting products and quotes those on request.

Upload portals for invoices you already produce

Choose this shape if your invoices already come out of Excel, QuickBooks, Tally or an ERP and you only need them reported to FBR.

MyDigitalInvoice

A web portal for FBR and PRA invoices with inventory and a retail POS screen. It publishes the lowest entry price we found: Rs 500 a month for up to 5 invoices, Rs 1,000 for up to 20, Rs 2,000 for up to 200 and Rs 3,000 above that, paid from a prepaid wallet, plus 5% service tax. Excel bulk upload of more than 9,000 invoices per file is a Rs 2,000 a month add on. It states all 28 FBR scenarios and a multi client portal for accounting firms.

IRIS Connect

A web service that takes your existing PDF or Excel invoices and reports them to FBR, from Softech Solutions UK. It states sandbox scenario clearance handled for you, credit and debit notes, and connectors for QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Tally, Dynamics 365 and Odoo. Plans run from Rs 3,500 a month for 25 invoices to Rs 30,000 a month for 500 or more, plus 15% sales tax.

e-invoicing.pk

An Excel upload portal and integration service from Tier3 Pakistan, and the only vendor here that states integration with all four provincial authorities: PRA, SRB, KPRA and BRA. It quotes sandbox approvals within seven working days. Pricing is by proposal.

Digital Invoices

A web invoicing platform from NexGen Technologies with Excel upload, an offline POS queue and connectors for SAP, Odoo, NetSuite and QuickBooks. The site shows two price sets that do not match: Rs 1,500 a month or Rs 15,000 a year on the home page, and PKR 2,500 to PKR 5,000 a month on its service pages.

Large companies and ERP users

Haball Wasal

Haball is a licensed integrator on FBR's register. Its Wasal product handles real time invoice registration from an ERP, with validation and queue management, and names clients such as Unilever Pakistan. Pricing is not published.

Odoo

If you already run Odoo, the Odoo Apps store lists ready modules, for example FBR Pakistan SC by EBITDA Solutions for Odoo 17 to 19, and a free listing, Pakistan FBR Digital Invoicing by Zalino Tech, for Odoo 18 and 19. Implementation firms such as Bashalog quote after a review. A module still needs your FBR registration, sandbox testing and a licensed integrator route. Our guide on choosing an Odoo FBR module or a custom connector covers the trade offs.

The free route: PRAL

Rule 150XF(2) of the Sales Tax Rules 2006 says PRAL "shall provide free of cost integration services to the registered persons on demand", and rule 150XO(2) confirms no fee is payable to FBR. PRAL's user manual version 1.5 shows two modes on the IRIS digital invoicing screen: API integration, and manual invoice generation, which it describes as having limited functionality. What PRAL does not give you is billing software, stock, receipts or someone to map your products to HS codes. That gap is what every product above is selling.

Questions to ask any vendor, including us

  1. Are you on FBR's List of License Integrators? If not, whose licence does my integration run under?
  2. What is the total first year cost at my invoice volume, including setup, add ons, extra users or branches, and tax?
  3. Which FBR sandbox scenarios apply to my business, and who does the testing? See FBR sandbox testing.
  4. What happens when FBR is unreachable? Rule 150XC requires offline invoices to be marked and uploaded within 24 hours of restoration.
  5. Can I issue debit and credit notes? See debit notes and credit notes.
  6. How do I fix a mistake inside the 72 hour window set by STGO 01 of 2026?
  7. Do I need PRA, SRB or KPRA as well as FBR? See FBR or PRA, or both.

Where Axiom Square fits, and where it does not

A good fit if you are a retailer, wholesaler, distributor or manufacturer who wants hosted invoicing with inventory and barcode scanning, bulk invoicing from a CSV file, pricing published by invoice volume, and integration included in a one time PKR 5,000. It also fits if you need PRA invoicing for services through our PraTax service, or an FBR connector built into an existing Odoo.

Not the right fit if you want full accounting with ledgers and payroll in the same product, or a mobile app, since we offer neither. Our service is hosted, so billing needs an internet connection. And we are not a licensed integrator ourselves, so ask us the first question on the list above.

See it on your own invoices

Starter at PKR 2,000 a month, Growth at PKR 3,000 and Business at PKR 5,000, plus a one time PKR 5,000 for FBR integration.

Common questions

What is the best FBR digital invoicing software in Pakistan?

It depends on what you need it to do. Shops and restaurants usually want a point of sale product such as SadaHisab, CISePOS, OneClick POS or Axiom Square. Businesses that want their books in the same place look at accounting software with FBR invoicing built in, such as Splendid Accounts, Hisaab.pk, LedgerMax or AmalERP. Businesses that already produce invoices in Excel or another system can use an upload portal such as MyDigitalInvoice, IRIS Connect or e-invoicing.pk.

Which FBR digital invoicing software is cheapest?

Of the prices published on vendors' own websites on 14 September 2026, MyDigitalInvoice starts lowest at Rs 500 a month for up to 5 invoices, plus 5% service tax. For about 40 invoices a month, published first year costs ranged from Rs 24,000 at MyDigitalInvoice before tax to PKR 61,600 at SadaHisab including its setup fee. Integration through PRAL itself is free under rule 150XF(2).

Is there a free way to do FBR digital invoicing?

Yes, for the integration. Rule 150XF(2) of the Sales Tax Rules 2006 says PRAL shall provide free of cost integration services on demand, and no fee is payable to FBR. PRAL's user manual also shows a manual invoice generation option in IRIS with limited functionality. PRAL does not provide billing software, stock management or product mapping, which is what paid products sell.

Are FBR digital invoicing software companies licensed integrators?

Most are not. FBR's register named eight licensed integrators on 14 September 2026: PRAL, Haball, WebDNAworks, EY Ford Rhodes, Openport Pakistan, TMR Consulting, NatureTech and Dynamic Resources. Of the software products compared, only Haball is on it, and several vendors state that they connect through PRAL. Axiom Square is not on the register either, so ask any vendor whose licence your integration runs under.

Which products let me upload invoices from Excel?

Among the vendors compared, bulk upload from Excel or CSV is published by Axiom Square, Hisaab.pk, MyDigitalInvoice as a paid add on, IRIS Connect, e-invoicing.pk and Digital Invoices. The others do not publish it, which does not always mean they lack it.
