AXIOM SQUARE Business Consultants (Private) Limited is a tax and compliance consultancy at 558 P Johar Town, Lahore, covering income tax filing, FBR digital invoicing, PRA digital invoicing and Odoo integration. Salaried income tax filing is a flat PKR 5,000, business and company work is scoped and priced in writing before any work starts, and returns are prepared and filed by FBR registered consultants.
You will find no client names, case studies, testimonials or success statistics here. We do not publish figures we would not be willing to show the working for, and that discipline applies to our own marketing as much as it does to the regulatory content in our guide library.
Where we are
AXIOM SQUARE Business Consultants (Private) Limited is at 558 P Johar Town, Lahore, Punjab. You can reach us at contact@axiomsquare.com or +92 321 9630757.
Johar Town is convenient for most of the commercial belt on that side of the city, and Model Town, Faisal Town, Gulberg and the Ferozepur Road corridor are all a short drive. That said, very little of this work now requires anyone to sit in a room. Returns are filed on IRIS, invoicing integrations run over an API, and documents move by email or WhatsApp. We meet in person when a meeting genuinely helps, which is more often at the start of a business engagement than at the filing stage.
What we actually do
Four things, and they connect to each other more than people expect.
- Income tax filing. Returns prepared and filed by FBR registered consultants, for salaried individuals, sole proprietors, partnerships and companies.
- FBR digital invoicing. Invoicing and point of sale software integrated with FBR's system, with the invoice number and QR code on every sale.
- PRA digital invoicing. For service businesses billing in Punjab, which is a separate authority and a separate system from the federal one.
- Odoo integration. A compliance layer built into the Odoo a business already runs, rather than a second system alongside it.
The connection matters. A business that has just been notified for digital invoicing under SRO 1413(I)/2025 has not merely acquired a software problem. Its sales data now reaches FBR in real time, Annexure C of its sales tax return is auto filled from those invoices under rule 150R(5) of the Sales Tax Rules 2006, and the picture its income tax return presents has to sit consistently alongside all of it. Most firms in this city sell either the filing or the software. Handling both is the reason we can see that seam at all.
How an engagement runs
1. The first conversation
A call or a WhatsApp message. The aim is to find out what you actually need, which is not always what you asked for. A salaried person who says they want to become a filer needs a return, not a product. A restaurant owner who says they need FBR invoicing may in fact be dealing with the provincial authority, or with both. There is no charge for working that out, and if the answer is that you do not need us, we will say so.
2. Scope and price, in writing, before anything starts
You get told what the work is and what it costs before we begin, not after. For salaried filing that is a single published figure. For business work it depends on the shape of the entity and the state of the records, and we would rather have an honest conversation about that upfront than issue a surprise later.
3. Documents
This is where engagements slow down, every time, and it is worth knowing that going in. For a salaried return this is typically your CNIC, your salary certificate, bank statements for the year, and details of any property, vehicles or other assets and their acquisition. For a business it extends to sales and purchase records, bank statements, and whatever the entity has by way of accounts. For sales tax registration work FBR's own published requirements are specific in ways that surprise people, including GPS tagged photographs of the business premises and a biometric verification step at a NADRA e Sahulat centre. We tell you the full list at the start rather than in instalments.
4. The work
Preparation is done by FBR registered consultants, and it is preparation rather than transcription. Where a treatment is genuinely open, we tell you it is open and explain the options rather than picking one silently and hoping.
5. Review, then filing
You see the return, or the invoice configuration, before it is submitted. Nothing goes into IRIS or into FBR's digital invoicing system in your name until you have looked at it. This is not a formality. You are the person who signs for it, and you are the person who has to answer for it if a notice arrives later.
And afterwards
For filing clients, we keep the working papers so that next year starts from a position rather than from scratch, and so that a notice about a prior year can be answered from records rather than memory. For invoicing clients the relationship is continuous by nature, because the system posts to FBR every day and something eventually needs attention. Our guide on why FBR invoices get rejected covers the most common of those.
What it costs
Our published prices, in full.
- Salaried income tax filing: a flat PKR 5,000. One price, not a range.
- Digital invoicing software, Starter: PKR 2,000 per month, for zero to 50 invoices a month.
- Growth: PKR 3,000 per month, for 51 to 200 invoices a month.
- Business: PKR 5,000 per month, for 201 to 500 invoices a month.
- Enterprise: on request, above 500 invoices a month.
- FBR integration: a one time PKR 5,000 setup.
Business and company filing, sales tax registration and Odoo work are scoped individually, because the work genuinely varies and a published figure would be a fiction. We break the invoicing costs down in full, including the components that are not ours to charge for, in what FBR digital invoicing actually costs.
How we handle regulatory facts
This is the part of how we work that matters most, and it is the reason this site has a guide library at all.
Pakistani tax content has a specific failure mode. A figure is published, the underlying schedule is amended or repealed, the article stays up, other sites copy it, and within a couple of years an incorrect number is the consensus. It happens with fee schedules, with thresholds, with deadlines and with categories that no longer exist. Some of it is traceable to stale pages on government websites.
Our working rules are simple.
- Every rate, fee, threshold or deadline we publish carries a link to the primary source, meaning a gazette notification, a general order, an official fee schedule or the statute itself. Not another consultancy's blog.
- Every page carries a visible last verified date, so you can see how old the check is rather than guessing from a publication date.
- If we cannot verify something from a primary source, we do not state it. Where that leaves a gap on a page people care about, we say so explicitly rather than filling it. FBR penalty amounts are the clearest example. The figures circulating in this market disagree with each other substantially, we could not reconcile them against section 33 of the Sales Tax Act 1990, so we publish none.
- The same discipline applies in a meeting. If you ask us something and the honest answer is that it needs checking against the current text, that is the answer you get.
What we will not do
- Quote you a refund figure before seeing your documents.
- Tell you a penalty number we cannot source.
- File anything in your name that you have not seen.
- Advise you to understate income. If that is what you are looking for, we are the wrong firm and it will save us both time to establish that on the first call.
